The members of EMITs board of directors are: Zeev Livne, Yoram Yair, Alik Ron & Zeev Nahamoni EMIT is under advanced development of a very light personal loitering UAV called WASP. More details in the near future. EMIT Aviation Consult Ltd., has recently nominated Mr. Zeev Nahamoni as CEO. This appointment is part of an effort to broaden EMIT's local and international markets. Mr. Nahamoni previously served as V.P. for Marketing and Business Development at the I.A.I, in charge of for U.S.A. and Canada. Previous to that he served as V.P. & General Manager of the I.A.I Electronics Div., leading it to a 90% growth in 5 years. As CEO, Mr. Nahamoni will lead this new business structure to win major UAV and RPV contracts and will foster cooperation with leading defense companies. EMIT shall concentrate its efforts in R&D and manufacture of high quality, state-of-the-art systems. In addition, it will continue to provide solutions for customer requirements, support, training, documentation, supply of spare parts & warranty. ULTRA SELECTED TO PROVIDE DEMONSTRATION OF LOITERING MUNITION CAPABILITY. The proposed system is based on E.M.I.T Aviation Consult's Sparrow UAV including EO payload and ground control system. E.M.I.T is a key member of the consortium headed by Ultra U.K. This decision was taken in light of an excelling capability demonstration conducted by E.M.I.T for the selection committee during November 2005 A loitering munition is an uninhabited air vehicle fitted with an explosive warhead. It can be launched and commanded to loiter in a holding pattern for up to six hours.
